This horse has some issues on standing balanced on all 4 feet, preferring one side and is a horse that does intense trail riding!

This accrues by being younger, stomping at flies,tight muscles & the physical demands of doing those trail rides.

Bodywork is a beneficial for all disciplines that you enjoy with your horse

This is a great example of before and after photos. Seeing the tiny details of how a massage can benefit a horse right after it is done

What is Kinesiology Taping??

🔷 K-taping is a therapeutic method that uses elastic tape which is applied on a certain area of the horses body. It is a study of equine muscle and biomechanics movements.

📌It acts on 5 major physiological areas of the horses body.
~ Skin, Fascia(connective tissue), Muscles, Joints & Lymphatic system.

How does Kinesiology Taping work??

🔷 When K-tape is applied it will lift up the hair and deep tissue layer to create space allowing lymphatic fluid to flow more freely.
Also when K-tape is applied it can activate or inhibit muscles.

Which gives the benefits of
🔹Increase blood flow
🔹Reduce swelling
🔹Relief sore/tight muscles
🔹Improve circulation/ stocking up
🔹Stabilize joints
🔹Better range of motion
🔹Relax or support muscles

Here are some photos before a massage next to a photo after a massage has been done.

I see that this horse had some tight muscle in his biceps & uneven hips.
Which will make the horse move incorrectly and cause more soreness. But after the massage you can see better balanced hips and relaxed muscles!

The same horse also has a little bit of the spine being off or the horse preferring to lean to one side. Not being the best balanced. Which can cause the rider to be unbalanced as well.
After the massage you can see the horse is evenly balancing to both sides! 

Overall this guy took advantage of his massage and got great results right away 😇
