Buffalo women, this conversation is for us! Register at link in bio 🔗

Join us for Menopause and the Buffalo Woman — an evening of connection, conversation, and empowerment focused on midlife, menopause, and women’s health.

We’re honored to welcome Dr. Kemi Doll — gynecologist, author, and nationally recognized advocate for women’s health — in conversation with Buffalo’s own Common Council Majority Leader, Leah Halton-Pope.

Together, they’ll discuss the harmful legacy of normalized suffering in women’s health, the historic neglect of gynecologic care in medicine and policy, and how women can better advocate for themselves and move through midlife with greater knowledge, support, and confidence.

Guests will also have the opportunity to receive a complimentary copy of Dr. Doll’s book, A Terrible Strength, with book-signing to follow.

Come for the conversation. Leave with knowledge, community, and tools to take charge of your health.

Looking forward to seeing you there!

Event Schedule
5:00 PM – 5:30 PM | Reception
5:30 PM – 6:45 PM | Program
6:45 PM – 7:15 PM | Book Giveaway and Author Signing.

We talked about menopause IN CHURCH. 🔥🙏🏾

First Shiloh Baptist Church showed us exactly why these conversations belong in community spaces. The energy, the questions, the women in that room.

And, Reverend Dr. Staples is a fellow alum?! 🌲🤓. What a great event 👏🏾. Thank you to and ‘s Dr. Lisa Jane Jacobsen for helping move women’s health beyond the clinic walls.

Keep following. We have something exceptional on coming on ✨May 15✨. Mark your calendars. Big author. Big energy. You won’t want to miss it. 👀📖

We care about all year round.
But in March, we speak a little louder for those who have been told their pain is “normal.”
In this interview, we talk about what endometriosis really is, why diagnosis is often delayed, and what comprehensive care should look like.
OBGYN Centers, our approach is simple:We listen. We validate. We evaluate thoroughly. And we build individualized treatment plans: medical, surgical, and pelvic floor therapy when needed.
Endometriosis is more than “just a bad period.”And you deserve thoughtful, specialized care.
Grateful to for helping bring this conversation to the forefront in our community. Check out the full video online.

Endometriosis deserves answers before surgery.

we’re proud to be the only practice in the Buffalo area offering advanced ultrasound mapping to identify endometriosis before surgery.
Why it matters: when we can see the pattern and extent ahead of time, we can plan a complete surgery from the start so you’re more likely to get it done right the first time.

✅ If you’ve been told “everything looks normal” but your symptoms aren’t…come see us.
📍If you’re in WNY and want pre-op endometriosis imaging, ask for our advanced endometriosis ultrasound.

Thank you.

A year of brave conversations and seeing how this city really works deepened my belief that health starts in the community, long before the clinic. Bringing those lessons back to my work Oishei Children’s Hospital OB-GYN Centers to keep advancing the health of our community.

Forever grateful for the small but mighty team of Morgan, Kendra, Melissa, Rachel, and Jasmine. You are truly transforming this city one grad at a time.
