Family means everything to us at our family-owned and operated community. That’s why it feels especially meaningful when we have the privilege of caring for couples together under one roof.

We are also lucky to know many residents as couples even when they don’t live here together — spouses who visit daily, share meals, attend activities, and remain an important part of our community. This is family.

This Valentine’s Day, we are honored to be caring for so many loving partnerships, each with a unique story and a lifetime of memories.

Today, Enzo of First Light Home Care and Ami of Mills Estate Villa honored residents who are veterans with personalized certificates! The veterans shared stories about their time in the service and why they served. We were honored to hear about their experiences, recognizing that the celebration the USA’s independence and freedoms were very personal to them.

Marriage Advice from the Hoods- “ Allow the other to have their own opinions.”

At Mills Estate Villa, we pride ourselves in providing compassionate care to residents, this extends to couples that chose our community as home. Over the years, we've had the privilege of caring for many couples, each with their own needs -we accommodate their choices.
Recently, we had the pleasure of interviewing Mr. and Mrs. Hood, a delightful couple who have been married for an impressive 48 years. Their relationship began with a whirlwind romance, and they credit communication, mutual respect, and allowing each other to express their own opinions as the pillars of their successful marriage.
For the Hoods, maintaining their togetherness was of primary importance to them and their families despite differing care needs. Witnessing their continued affection and enjoyment of each other's company fills us with immense joy. It's evident that their love for one another remains strong after nearly five decades of marriage.
Welcoming couples like the Hoods to Mills Estate Villa enriches our community, infusing
it with an extra dose of love and happiness. We're honored to be a part of their journey and look forward to creating many more cherished memories together.
