Our timelines might be a little delayed, but the memories from this afternoon are still perfectly crisp! Back in April, we had the absolute honor of hosting Linda Mihara, the owner of Paper Tree in San Francisco, for a hands-on origami workshop.

From paper cranes to intricate folds, Linda turned our community into a full-blown origami studio for the afternoon. Our residents and staff proved it's never too late to learn a new skill, even if a few of our practice pieces looked a little more like crumpled paper than fine art at first. 🤫

A massive thank you to Linda for sharing her time, her unmatched talent, and the beautiful history of this paper-folding art with us.

Donut mind if we do! 🍩 We celebrated Day on Friday by treating our amazing residents and team to some sweet treats. But the sweetness didn’t stop there! Our fabulous team members, Harmony and Maria, hit the road to deliver some sugary gratitude to our local fire and police departments. Just our way of saying thank you to the heroes who keep our community safe. (And yes, the sprinkles were a mandatory addition!) 🎉

Chef Demo Day was a sweet success! 🍡 Our very own Chef Martin stepped out of the kitchen and into the spotlight for a special cooking demonstration! Residents gathered to watch, learn, and (of course) taste as he showed us the art of making delicious, chewy mochi from scratch.

We love learning new culinary techniques, especially when they taste this good! A big thank you to Chef Martin for the fun, interactive, and delicious afternoon.

We are thrilled to announce our new partnership with Chinese Community Health Resource Center (Cchrcsf)! To kick off this wonderful collaboration, Yushan Zhang and the CCHRC team visited our residents for a special introduction and an afternoon filled with laughter, connection, and a lively game of Ball Toss in Cups. 🎯🏆

Everyone had a blast competing for prizes, and the energy in the room was truly infectious. We are so incredibly grateful for this partnership and the joy it’s already bringing to our community.
