It is a true gift to our seniors and their families, assisting them in navigating unknown territory. For older adults, spending time outdoors can help boost mood, improve sleep, encourage gentle physical activity, and provide a healthy dose of vitamin D. Whether it’s enjoying a morning cup of coffee on the porch or taking a short walk, a little fresh air can do wonders for both physical and emotional well-being.

This Memorial Day week, we pause to honor the brave veterans we’ve lost—those who gave everything for our freedom. We recognize that many veterans still with us, carry the weight of grief and complex emotions especially during this time. If you have a veteran in your life, reach out—offer a listening ear, and remind them they’re not alone. At J&J Home Care, we stand with them, and we believe in the power of connection and compassion to help us all heal.

Our Community Liaison Kelley, had the opportunity to attend a fantastic event in Wi******er, at the Jenks Center. The annual symposium focused on living longer and planning for a rapidly changing future.  Guest speakers included members of MIT’s economic team, and Physicians from Wi******er Hospital. Our J&J team strives to educate ourselves, and in-turn our client’s and community as to what tools are available to them. Our priority is for our seniors to maintain the highest quality of life, and the most independence that is safely possible.
