🦇🦇🦇Bilahuk Family Farm to the rescue! 🦇🦇🦇

Today, an Eastern red bat was lying on the ground outside our window at Body Works Massage and Wellness. Initially, we thought he was dead — until he moved an hour later.

He appeared to be stunned, and we’re guessing he may have hit the glass outside Body Works.

We reached out to CLAWS, Inc., an amazing wildlife organization out of Chapel Hill. They gave us great advice, as always, and helped connect us with Bilahuk Family Farm through Alamance County Animal Control.

We were attempting to move our little visitor into a box so Bilahuk Family Farm could help get him safely into a tree when he suddenly FLEW OFF.

My sincere apologies to Nickolas Bilahuk and Jonie Barham who were on the phone with us when that happened. 😂

I’m just grateful the lobby camera somehow didn’t capture the whole thing. Pictures are much better than video evidence of Lisa and I screaming like little girls. 😂
