Jaymee Krauter, LPC

Jaymee Krauter, LPC I’m a Certified EMDR Therapist and Consultant-in-Training. I specialize in childhood trauma, attachment trauma, and anxiety disorders. And trauma can be healed.

I’m a Certified EMDR Therapist & Consultant-in-Training, and a Licensed Professional Counselor in Pennsylvania. I became a trauma therapist after doing my own work to heal childhood trauma. It was in therapy that I learned that the root of my problems resulted from attachment trauma and that I had Complex PTSD. That realization created a complete paradigm shift. Discovering that I wasn’t the probl

em—that my trauma was—was both shocking and liberating. That truth opened the door to self-compassion, and that’s where my healing truly began. My life experience, education, and ongoing professional development have helped me connect with clients on a deep, intuitive level. I “get” them—and they feel that. I build strong rapport because I can hold space without judgment, and nothing brings me more satisfaction than watching someone realize they are not permanently damaged—they were traumatized.

I’m not a master gardener, but I really enjoy it. I encourage my kids to help. Its messy. Its stressful, but that’s ok. I’m not a perfect parent either but I try to let them help anytime they ask. Its messy. Its stressful, but that’s ok. We take these moments for granted until one day, they no longer want to help. We also judge ourselves for getting frustrated. Just stop expecting perfection & the frustration goes away. Don’t miss these opportunities for true connection and QT. They matter more than any sport you put them in or any name brand clothes you buy. Take it from me, an attachment focused therapist who hears all day, every day about the things that traumatize people. It is less often the big T (r**e murder, abuse), but rather, what they didn’t get from their parents. the big tease.

This Friday, July 17, 2026, at 1:00 PM EST, our monthly EMDR Consultation Group officially begins its 5-month journey. If you’ve been struggling with difficult cases, or second-guessing your target sequence, or just wishing you had other colleagues learning along side you to consult with—this is your invitation to join us.

You don't have to navigate complex trauma therapy by yourself; your clients deserve an attuned, confident therapist, and you deserve a career that feels sustainable and supported by a community.

Our group runs monthly through November, providing 2 EMDRIA hours per group. The remaining seats are available on a first-come, first-served basis until our session starts this Friday. Register below.

I heard someone once say that doing EMDR is easy, doing EMDR well, is hard. That has always stuck with me. For some of us, truly learning EMDR comes after the training in our consultation groups. As we approach our mid-July start date, here is the exact logistical roadmap for our 5-month cohort so you can see exactly how it sustainably fits into your schedule without draining your calendar.

We will meet virtually via Google Meet on Fridays from 1:00–3:00 PM EST on the following key dates:
• July 17
• August 21
• September 18
• October 16
• November 20

The investment is $100 per 2-hour group, and registration for the full cohort is required to preserve the safety, clinical continuity, and depth of our cohort's group dynamic. Payment plans are available through Stripe. Every session provides 2 consultation hours applicable to meet EMDRIA certification requirements. Secure your cohort spot today.

A Human-First Space to Breathe and Learn

The absolute last thing a busy trauma therapist needs is another rigid professional environment where you feel pressured to perform perfectly. You don't need another expert telling you what to do. You need an authentic, collaborative space where you can breathe , not have to be so “on”, and get practical answers for the actual clients on your schedule next week.

Our Virtual EMDR Consultation Group is explicitly designed as an active workspace built on the belief that it is completely safe to be unsure and still learning. If a reprocessing session went completely sideways this week, this is the room where you can unmute your microphone and comfortably say, 'I have no idea whathappened. My client went completely blank , and I don't know what I did wrong.'

We keep our consultation circle small on purpose so that everyone has the floor and receives tailored, case-by-case feedback on their clients. We meet from 1:00–3:00 PM EST one Friday a month from July through November, earning you 2 EMDRIA consultation hours per session. Trade confusion and isolation for a supportive professional community at the link below.

Because Human Nervous Systems Don't Follow Manuals

Basic training environments love to use clean, single-event memories for practice, but real caseloads are filled with deeply woven attachment trauma. When a client responds to a target with sudden dissociation, intense flooding, or a protective part that shuts the session down, standard scripts can’t help. True confidence in the room doesn’t come from the basic training, it comes from continued consultation.

Our upcoming monthly cohort serves as the space to get support on these exact complexities. Together, we will explore attachment trauma, parts work, resourcing and preparation for complex systems, and how to safely guide clients through reprocessing without losing your clinical footing or overwhelming your client's window of tolerance.

We gather virtually via Google Meet once a month on Fridays starting July 17. If you are ready to gain more confidence in your EMDR skills, we would love to welcome you into this circle. Review the full 5-month schedule and join us below.

What Happens When EMDR Processing Hits a Wall?

It’s a familiar internal panic: you are doing all the things, you set up the target, client is activated, and suddenly the client goes blank or gets caught in a loop. It’s easy to start scrambling and wonder if you chose the wrong target or negative cognition, or missed a crucial step. But a stalled session isn't a clinical failure—it's information that a part of the client isn’t ready to move forward yet.

In our upcoming Virtual EMDR Consultation Group, we are focusing on what the protocols don’t teach, and that’s cognitive and somatic interweaves, and how to address stuck parts. This is a low-stress, non-judgmental space to bring your most confusing 'stuck' files so we can collaboratively discuss ways to get the client unstuck.

Our 5-month cohort officially begins on Friday, July 17, from 1:00–3:00 PM EST. If you are ready to stop second-guessing and start attuning alongside a trusted circle of your peers, we would love to have you. Read through our case-consultation framework and save your spot at the link below.

Bridging the Gap Between the EMDR Training Manual and the EMDR Session

Remember leaving your EMDR basic training? You packed up your manual, looked over the 8 phases, and felt a genuine wave of inspiration. But then in session, your client starts looping or goes blank during reprocessing. Human nervous systems are complex and it is incredibly common to feel a dip in your clinical confidence.

You don't have to navigate these real-world reprocessing challenges alone. Starting Friday, July 17, 2026, I am beginning a Virtual EMDR Consultation Group series, a monthly human-first Virtual EMDR Consultation Group. This is a collaborative, supportive 5-month cohort designed to help you step away from rigid textbook scripts and move into a space where you can safely start to understand why you are doing what you are doing.

We will meet online from 1:00–3:00 PM EST once a month through November to look directly at how to do EMDR with complex trauma. Every 2-hour group provides hours directly applicable toward your EMDRIA certification requirements. Look over the upcoming dates and consider joining a cohort of others who are eager to learn like you.

Individual or Group EMDR Consultation: Which do you actually need?

Consultation should be as relational and thoughtful as the therapy we provide. It’s about finding a supportive space to move from "I'm not a good EMDR Therapist." to "I am confident in my EMDR skills."

I’m currently accepting consultees who are ready to dive deep into everything from traditional protocols to EMDR 2.0 and Intensives.

I’m a Certified EMDR Therapist and Consultant-in-Training at Pittsburgh Therapy Group, but more importantly, I’m someone who believes that you shouldn't have to be in therapy forever.

My approach is direct, evidence-based, and focused on one thing: getting you back to your life. Whether we meet for weekly sessions or work through an EMDR Intensive, my goal is to help you navigate those "stuck" points so you can move forward with clarity.
