We were honored to attend Larry’s Hometown Heroes on October 20, 2026, to celebrate individuals making a difference in our communities. Larry Richert created “Larry’s Hometown Heroes” to recognize everyday local heroes. Larry serves as Chair of the WVU Medicine Butler Memorial Hospital Foundation Trustees. Congratulations to all the 2026 Larry’s Hometown Heroes!

The Butler Memorial Hospital Foundation’s Summer Soiree was held on Saturday, August 29, 2026, at the Butler Country Club. Over $80,000 was raised in support of a Digital Mammography Unit for the Women’s Imaging Center at Butler Memorial Hospital. The evening included a cocktail hour, entertainment, specialty fundraisers, and dinner. Thank you to all our sponsors, donors, volunteers, and guests for making this year’s Summer Soiree such a memorable and successful event!

The Butler Memorial Hospital Foundation and Auxiliary proudly supported the Obstetrics Department/ 3 Main at Butler Memorial Hospital with the purchase of additional HALO SleepSack Wearable Blankets. Designed to promote safe sleep practices, a HALO SleepSack is a wearable blanket that provides a safer alternative to loose blankets in a newborn’s crib. A HALO SleepSack is provided to take home as part of each family stay.

The Butler Memorial Hospital Foundation's 27th annual Tee Off Fore a Healthier Community Golf Outing was held on Monday, June 15, 2026 at the Butler Country Club. Nearly $80,000 was raised to support programs and services at Butler Memorial Hospital. The day included lunch, golf, dinner, and prizes.⛳️
