Frank W. LaRoche passed away on June 18, 2026, at the age of 58. He was an incredible husband and a loving father, a man who poured his heart into everything he did, big or small.
Frank proudly served his country in the United States Navy, carrying that pride with him for the rest of his life. He was a hard worker who loved his job and never knew how to slow down — always busy, always finding something to fix, build, or improve.
His wife, Donna, was his constant companion. The two loved trying new things together — new foods, new places, new adventures, and having long conversations — always up for whatever came next as long as they were side by side.
When he wasn’t working, Frank was almost always out in the driveway with his antique trucks, restoring them piece by piece and taking pride in every detail along the way. It was where he felt most at home. He treasured the time he spent with his grandchildren, Ezra and Chelsea, and was rarely far from his beloved dog, Bouton.
His daughter, Jennifer, holds especially fond memories of exploring and fishing together in the Okefenokee Swamp — time with her father she will always treasure.
Frank was a faithful member of Live Oak Baptist Church, where he also served on the church’s security team, quietly looking out for the safety of his church family.
Frank is survived by his wife, Donna LaRoche; his daughter, Jennifer Alexis LaRoche Teeples, and son-in-law, Andrew Teeples; his grandchildren, Ezra Acel Teeples and Chelsea Eliza Teeples; and his faithful dog, Bouton.
Frank was preceded in death by his mother, Ethel Virginia Inman LaRoche; his father, Elbert S. LaRoche, known to many as “Pete”; and his brother, Elbert Dennis LaRoche.
Frank will be remembered for his strong character, his devotion to his family, his quiet pride in a job well done, his faithful service to his church and country, and his willingness to lend a hand to anyone he found in need. He will also be remembered for the joy he found in the outdoors and in the people — and fur baby — he loved most.
The tribute above was prepared by Frank’s loving family.
