Wellbridge Addiction Treatment & Research Everyone who seeks our help deserves to overcome addiction & enjoy a life of sustained recovery. Wellbridge is an LGBTQIA+ friendly organization.

We treat patients 18 years and older with drug and alcohol addictions, including co-occurring disorders. Our personalized approach to care addresses the needs of individuals who are entering treatment for the first time and those who have been through rehab before and are seeking a more sustainable path to long-term recovery. We recognize that the family suffers alongside the patient and integrate treatment and support programs for the family.

Today, our team had the opportunity to attend a Mental Health & Problem Gambling viewing hosted by the New York Council on Problem Gambling. Organized by Alana Urbont Marino, LMSW, our Staff Education and Training Coordinator, this viewing encouraged staff to explore the connection between mental health and problem gambling, and reflect on how we as professionals can better support the individuals we serve. Yesterday at Wellbridge, we all stood together in remembrance, gratitude, and unity as we honored the brave veterans and first responders who made the ultimate sacrifice for our freedom and safety this Memorial Day. Special thanks to Larry Keating for joining us from Rising Tides.

What made yesterday especially powerful was seeing our alumni return home to lead the ceremony — men and women living proof that recovery, purpose, and service continue far beyond treatment. Their courage to come back, stand tall, and give back reminds us all that healing is possible and that no one fights alone.

From the lowering of the flag and the sounding of Taps to moments of silence for those we’ve lost, today was a reminder that sacrifice, resilience, and brotherhood connect us all.

To all veterans, active military, first responders, and those we honor in memory today — we thank you. Your legacy lives on.

Today, we celebrated our 2nd Annual Field Day at Wellbridge Addiction Treatment and Research ☀️🎉This special day gave both our staff and patients the opportunity to step outside of their daily routines and come together for an afternoon filled with outdoor games, activities, a BBQ, and even an ice cream truck. 🍔🍦Moments like these remind us how important connection, community, and joy are throughout the recovery journey. Wellbridge Addiction Treatment and Research was honored to sponsor the 12th Annual Memorial 5K for CJ Neumann this past weekend, helping raise awareness in the community about substance use disorder. Yesterday, The "Wellbridge Warriors" showed up 90 strong to support The Hope House Ministries 5K Run/Walk to End Addiction at the Shorefront Park in Patchogue.

Our team — made up of alumni, staff, family, and kids — came together to support recovery, raise awareness, and stand united against the disease of addiction. Every step taken was a reminder that recovery is possible, hope is real, and no one fights this battle alone.

We were also proud to help spread awareness and harm reduction throughout the event, with over 150 Narcan kits distributed to the community. Education, prevention, and access to life-saving resources matter.

We ran in honor and memory of those who lost their battle with addiction. Their names, stories, and impact continue to live on through moments like these.

Special thanks to RAIN Pure Mountain Spring Water for the hydration!

Together we recover. Together we remember. Together we keep fighting.
