ALPHA stands for "All Life's Problems Have Answers!" Please visit our website for specific information about our different locations.

ALPHA Behavioral Health Center serves clients in three counties: ALPHA Center in Chesterfield and Kershaw counties and The Lee Center in Lee County. ALPHA Behavioral Health Center fully supports consumer rights. The agency staff makes every effort to assure every person is treated fairly. ALPHA Behavioral Health Center fully complies with the standard of ethics set forth by the National Association of Alcohol and Other Drug Abuse Counselors (NAADAC) as well as the agency's Code of Ethics. These standards are posted in prominent places at each site. If you have any questions, you may ask any of our staff members to assist you.

September marks the official beginning of 𝗡𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗥𝗲𝗰𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘆 𝗠𝗼𝗻𝘁𝗵, and we are kicking off the month with an important truth: 𝗥𝗲𝗰𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘆 𝗛𝗮𝗽𝗽𝗲𝗻𝘀 𝗧𝗼𝗴𝗲𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗿.

Addiction thrives in isolation, but recovery grows through connection. Whether through family, workplaces, faith communities, peer support, or local programs, we are strongest when we work together to build a coordinated network of support.

ALPHA Behavioral Health Center was proud to partner with Lugoff Fire Department for a training focused on gas station drugs, v**e shop substances, and the risks these products can pose to our youth and community.

A major focus of the training was the marketing of these products and how they are often packaged and presented to look like familiar, everyday items. As part of the training, participants played two versions of a game created by the ALPHA Prevention Team to demonstrate how marketing tactics can make products appear familiar, safe, and appealing while potentially hiding the risks they carry.

The goal of this training was to increase awareness, provide accurate information, and help community professionals better understand these substances and their potential harms.

Thank you to Lugoff Fire for partnering with ALPHA Behavioral Health Center and making substance education and prevention a priority.
