ICYMI: CeraVe and its parent company, L’Oreal, are facing 6 class action lawsuits for containing a known carcinogen, benzene. Benzoyl peroxide, one of the ingredients in their Acne Foaming Cream Cleanser and Acne Foaming Cream Wash, breaks down into benzene, a known carcinogen, if exposed to heat.

Yale University researchers lab tested the cleansers and found 5 to 12pm of benzene. The FDA’s limit is 2ppm.

At Red Pantz, we’re committed to bringing the best possible ingredients, that’s why it was important to us to get our line USDA-certified organic. In the US, there isn’t a separate certification for skincare so skincare products are held to the same standards as food.
