Happy September! Another deep clean and playroom rotation for the patients at Grow With Me Pediatrics. We hope everyone has enjoyed their first few days back to school 📚✏️

We’ve already seen the first wave starting of sick season so a few reminders as we enter the fall to ensure we can keep this space open for our patients:

Please respect that there are no shoes allowed (parents too) so we can keep the area clean for the little feet at play.
If you know your child is ill, we kindly request that you use your judgement if they should play in this area at time of visit.

This allows us to keep an area that kids feel welcome, safe, but also clean to help us prevent the transmission of germs. Thank you so much and see you soon! 🍁🍂

Flu vaccine update!!

Still daydreaming of summer here... but flu vaccinations have arrived. We will be hosting a flu vaccination clinic, Friday October 9th from 2-6 pm. We will likely hold another date if needed. Secure your spot today, as all children in the state of CT 6 months through 5 years of age in the daycare or public school setting will be required by the state to receive their vaccination prior to December 31st 2026.

We are still accepting newborns! If you plan on receiving care at our office, please ensure you call us so we can add you to our expecting list prior to your due date. Our list has already extended to 2027.

Common questions we receive if you are expecting:

When is our first visit?
- We offer Meet & Greets for all expecting parents who desire to meet our providers, see our location, and ask any questions that they may have prior to the arrival of their newborn. These appointments are typically the last appointment of the day. This visit is a great time to see if we are a good fit for your family.
- A Meet & Greet is not necessary, however.

When is baby's first visit?
- Baby's first visit is 24-48 hours after discharge from the hospital. We kindly ask that you call us BEFORE you leave the hospital, even if it is on a weekend (on call will answer), so we ensure we see your baby in a timely manner.

Join us for our second year in a row, as we participate in the Canterbury Town Fourth of July Parade. Parade is on Saturday, July 4th at 10 AM. We hope to see you there! 🇺🇸♥️
