Halloween at The Canton Regency was a treat from start to finish!

Our community came alive with little trick-or-treaters, residents in costume, adorable pets dressed for the occasion, and candy bowls filled to the brim. Grandchildren, loved ones, and children of our team members joined the fun, filling the halls with laughter and Halloween spirit.

With festive decorations, music, hot dogs, and creative candy stations, it was an evening full of sweet moments and even sweeter company.

These are the moments that make a community feel like home: generations coming together, traditions shared, and a little Halloween magic around every corner.

Some of the most meaningful luxuries in senior living are the ones that make everyday life a little easier, and at The Canton Regency, Chris and Steve are two of the people who make that possible.

As our dedicated, professionally licensed CDL drivers, Chris and Steve do much more than get our residents from one place to another. They help make independence possible.

Our transportation department operates five days a week, with drivers whose sole responsibility is helping residents get where they need to go. That might mean a trip to the grocery store, a stop at the bank, an afternoon exploring a local attraction, or transportation to a medical appointment. It might mean bypassing a parking garage, dealing with inclement weather, or simply having the peace of mind of knowing someone is there to get you safely to your destination and back home again.

For residents who no longer drive, or simply prefer not to, that kind of dedicated service makes an enormous difference. It means fewer worries, greater freedom, and the confidence to keep doing the things that make life their own.

Chris and Steve, we appreciate your professionalism, your dependability, and the care you bring to your work every day. We are fortunate to have you, and our residents are, too.

At The Canton Regency, getting there is part of the experience. And we’re grateful to have two wonderful people behind the wheel.

Meet Janae Seawright, our Employee of the Month!

Janae began her journey at The Canton Regency as a teenager working in dietary. Over the past five years, she has grown into her role as a STNA in Memory Care, bringing dedication, compassion, and a genuine love for the residents she serves.

Although Janae typically works the overnight shift, she is always willing to step in and help when another shift needs support. That kind of dependability says so much about a person, but it’s her heart for our residents that makes her truly special.

Janae has grown with us, shown up for us, and made a difference in the lives of the people who call Canton Regency home. We are so proud to have her as part of our family.

Congratulations, Janae! Thank you for the care you give, the team member you are, and the kindness you bring to our community. You are so deserving of this recognition.

We threw a birthday paw-ty for our beloved Charlie at the Regency, and let’s just say… the tail wags were off the charts! 🐕🎉🎈 Charlie has a special way of brightening everyone’s day, and seeing her celebrate with her puppy pals, our residents, and staff was the sweetest reminder of what makes this place feel like home. 🏡❤️🐾

In case you didn’t know, Canton Regency is pet-friendly, and our four-legged friends are very much part of the family! 🐶🐾💕 There were treats, smiles, puppy friends, birthday wishes, and enough cuteness to last us all year! 🧁🎁🥳
