Save the Date! On August 4th from 1:00-2:30PM, join Ohio Olmstead Task Force and Breaking Silences for a virtual listening session with the Ohio Department of Medicaid (ODM). The session will focus on Senate Bill 315 and potential impacts on Home and Community-Based Services.

Information will be posted soon about how to register and join the session. If you plan to attend, prepare your questions in advance to submit to the moderators.

Yay Mary!!

Mary Jones has always found joy between the pages of a good book. This summer, she's sharing that joy with others in a very special way. 📚

Mary's love of books has inspired others before. Last year, Mary's passion for reading inspired a community book drive that collected more than 800 books for local children. Now, she's building on that success in a whole new way.

Working alongside her support team at Jason's Place, Mary helped build, paint, and now proudly maintains a Free Little Library outside Jason's Place. She keeps it clean, organized, and well-stocked so visitors of all ages can discover a new favorite book or leave one to share.

Mary's story is a wonderful example of what can happen when a person's interests are encouraged and supported. With the support of her team at Jason's Place, DSP Marisa, and Stark DD SSA Donna Shackle, her love of reading has grown into something that brings neighbors together and spreads the joy of books throughout the community.
