At 100 years old, this Brightview Senior Living Woodburn resident knows a thing or two about making the most of each day. She credits daily exercise, a good attitude, and even a nightly glass of w**e, proving that after all. 🍷👻

Despite the dreary day, we were feeling very tropical tonight! The Unlikely Strummers brought their warmth and energy to us like always! A much enjoyed Social Hour!

Summer stuff! Outing with Brightview Commons to St. Ann’s Cultural Center, brunch trips, outdoor walks, games and painting! There are always so many choices for residents here!

June things! Prom fashion show, horseshoes, Butterfly Release fundraiser, representing at Pride parade in Boston, social hour friendships and our Brightview TED talk with resident retired engineers.

We thoroughly enjoyed the Brightview annual regional picnic yesterday! The heat helped us kick off summer a few weeks early. Somehow our seating at the lucky gazebo seems to have helped several residents win raffle baskets. We look forward to more summer fun to come and of course, other collaborations with sister communities.

We are loving the change of season and the beginning of Spring! Trip to the Arboretum for lilac viewing (and smelling), preparing our raised garden beds for planting, and a color scavenger hunt walk.

Our annual Casino Night event! Everyone had so much fun, especially our newest residents!

Our Spice in Motion exercises classes are always filled with people building their strength and staying healthy! Today Bayada ran our semi annual fitness surveys and residents enjoyed a healthy treat from the yogurt bar.

What a wonderful week in our community! Residents celebrated Passover, Easter and the beginning of spring with so much joy.

March has been a blast and it’s not even finished yet! Trip to JFK Museum/library, a trivia challenge visit to BV Wakefield, script reading, St. Patrick’s Day and the return of our Friday salad series which of course featured the color green.
