This is what community leadership looks like. 💚

Today was a pretty special day for Community Counseling Center.

As part of Leadership Cape 2026, this incredible team chose CCC’s Gallery of Inspiration for their team project — and today, we had the opportunity to watch them present their vision to a room full of community leaders.

They didn't simply choose a project. They took the time to learn about the Gallery, understand the people it serves, identify its needs and explore what could be possible for its future. Their work looked at creating a more accessible, functional and visible space where art, skill-building, connection and recovery can continue to grow.

For those who may not know it, the Gallery of Inspiration provides individuals receiving behavioral health services an opportunity to create, develop valuable skills, share their work and connect with the greater community.

Having a group of community leaders invest their time, talents, research and creativity into imagining what's next for the Gallery is an incredible gift. We are so grateful to this Leadership Cape team for believing in this program and helping others see its potential.

This is community leadership in action: see a need, bring people together and help turn possibility into impact. 💚

Thank you, Leadership Cape 2026. We can't wait to see what comes next.

Multipurpose toys and crafts is what it’s all about! Not only do the kids have fun with these but at the same time they’re regulating emotions and learning life skills without even realizing!🤩
