Larry, a proud veteran and part of the ownership team, stepped in and got it done. No fuss, no delay… just service, respect, and a job well done. From one veteran to another… mission accomplished.

There’s something powerful about veterans taking care of veterans, and it almost always involves a shared understanding, a quiet bond, and a commitment to always show up. Because here, we don’t just provide care — we make things happen.

Today was one of those days that just fills your cup.

A Place at Home - Lafayette had the absolute pleasure of spending time with this amazing Gardening Club Courtyard Retirement & Assisted Living Community and bringing a little hands-on fun with pots to decorate, soil to dig in, and marigolds to plant.

Watching everyone get creative, share laughs, and take pride in their plants was such a joy. These are the moments that remind me how powerful simple activities can be—connection, purpose, and a whole lot of smiles.

Thank you for having me and letting A Place at Home - Lafayette be part of your day. We loved every minute of it!
