Just a heads up, the City of Caro has started the process of replacing the sidewalk in front of our community along Cleaver Road. All visitation is still open, just use caution as you navigate through the construction that is occuring near each of our entrances.

We had an incredible turnout at our Spring Open House, and we are so grateful to everyone who came out to support Michigan’s County Medical Care Facilities.

It was truly inspiring to stand alongside so many fellow administrators from across the state, as well as local and state leaders—including our State Representative—who share in our commitment to serving the elders of our communities.

Moments like this remind us that the work we do matters—and that it takes strong partnerships, advocacy, and dedicated caregivers to continue moving forward.

Thank you for standing with us and supporting not only our mission, but the amazing individuals who provide care every single day.

I was honored today to receive the 2026 Distinguished Legislative Service Award from the Michigan County Medical Care Facilities Council at the Tuscola County Medical Care Community.

I am incredibly grateful for this recognition and proud to support the important work being done to care for residents across all 83 counties in Michigan.

Our county medical care facilities play a critical role in providing quality long-term care and services for some of our most vulnerable residents. Thank you to the MCMCFC for this award and for your continued dedication to the people of our state.
