Long before tonight’s match, Matt Freese was chasing a dream. His story is one of steady work, deep support and a love for the game that started early and never let go.

We believe whole-person care helps people keep moving toward the goals that matter most. See what his means to him.

For many, healthcare is more than a career. It’s a calling. A place where what they’ve waited their whole life to do becomes possible.

Every day, our team members bring their unique talents to care for patients, support one another and serve our communities with compassion and purpose.

Whether that’s through offering a prayer, comforting a patient, supporting a colleague or helping someone feel seen and loved, each moment is an opportunity to extend the healing ministry of Christ. Our team members shared what they’ve waited their whole lives for. Now, we’d love to hear from you.

For the people we serve, some moments remind us what is possible when a community comes together with a shared purpose.

Our Cancer Survivors Day was about more than an event. It was about connection, hope and creating moments that help people live healthier, fuller lives. It was a chance to listen, learn, support one another and strengthen the relationships that help our community thrive.

We are grateful for everyone who joined us and helped make this day so meaningful. Together, AdventHealth Aurora Highlands, AdventHealth Avista, AdventHealth Castle Rock, AdventHealth Littleton, AdventHealth Parker and AdventHealth Porter are helping build a healthier future, one relationship at a time.

With God’s love surrounding you and His hand protecting you, there is nothing to fear.

You don’t have to be a medical professional to save a life. ❤️

During cardiac arrest, hands-only CPR can keep blood flowing until help arrives and that can make all the difference.

Take a minute to learn. You never know whose heart you might help restart.

300 days of sunshine is a gift, but Colorado sun can be hard on skin.

At higher altitudes, UV rays are stronger, and snow can reflect them back at you. That means sunscreen matters even on cool days. Make sunscreen part of your routine, even on cooler days. Your skin will thank you.

Learn more about sun safety, including how exposure can impact your health, how to prevent melanoma, signs of severe sunburns and daily sun protection habits.

Every day, we witness moments of hope, healing, and human connection that remind us something greater is at work.

Half of all mental health conditions begin by age 14, yet only one in three parents regularly talk with their children about mental health. AdventHealth and Douglas County - Government are working together to help change that.

We’re encouraging open conversations, meaningful connections, and support for emotional well-being. Through this initiative, we can listen with empathy, lead with kindness, and help young people grow with resilience and hope.

Addressing shoulder pain early can help pickleball players heal faster and stay active longer. Dr. Anthony Sanchez is seeing more overuse injuries, such as tendonitis and rotator cuff problems, as the sport grows in popularity.

Many players try to push through soreness, but early treatment, rest and strengthening can help prevent a minor ache from becoming a bigger setback.
