A pop-up Overdose Awareness Month event was held at Ravenwood Health to honor those we have lost, increase education about harm reduction, and share the message that recovery is possible. Attendees were able to receive Narcan, remembrance ribbons, positive affirmation cards, and overdose awareness bracelets. Throughout Ravenwood Health, staff also participated in honoring loved ones lost to overdose while helping raise awareness and support recovery.

Many staff members wore purple, the official color of Overdose Awareness Day, as a symbol of remembrance for those we have lost, support for individuals and families impacted by overdose, and hope for those still on their recovery journey. Thank you to everyone who stopped by to learn, share their own experiences, and take action to help save lives.
