This patient came into our clinic dealing with migraines, episodes of lightheadedness, and anxiety that began in 2019 after experiencing a car accident that resulted in whiplash.
After years of different tests, medications, and even dietary changes, they were left frustrated and wondering why their migraines continued to come back no matter what they tried.
After taking an advanced 3D CT scan, we identified structural misalignments involving the C1 and C2 vertebrae in their upper cervical spine.
This particular area of the spine is important because itās where the brainstem meets the spinal cord. The brainstem plays an important role in regulating many of the bodyās automatic functions, including blood flow regulation, processing pain signals, and maintaining balance.
When these top two vertebrae are misaligned, it may affect the neurology and communication between the brain and body.
If your migraines, lightheadedness, or other symptoms keep coming back and you still donāt have answers, it may be time to have your spine evaluated.
We offer complimentary consultations where you can ask questions, understand your options, and see if chiropractic care is right for you. Contact us to schedule yours!
