Residents are our North Star and Moments Matter. Within an inviting, beautiful setting, those seniors who need assistance with daily living have their choice of studio and one-bedroom apartments. Nursing services are delivered 24 hours a day by highly trained staff who honor individual wishes. On-site therapy services are available in addition to medication management, housekeeping and laundry services, courtesy transportation to medical appointments and an on-site maintenance staff. The senior living community is located at 2400 Market Street in Charlestown, Indiana.

Lunch by the River!

Our 1019 River Crossing residents enjoyed a wonderful lunch at Kingfish today! The beautiful river view sparked lots of conversation as they watched the boats go by, reminisced about the history and memories of the area, and shared stories about just how much the scenery has changed since they were kids.

Fresh-baked fun at 1019 River Crossing! Our residents enjoyed making delicious peanut butter cookies—Virginia’s state cookie! ❤️

Fun fact: Those signature fork-press marks started appearing in recipes in the early 1930s to flatten the dense dough and help the cookies bake evenly. A little history with a whole lot of sweetness!

Yesterday, we had the privilege to attend the grand opening of Kesler Hall. Kesler Hall is a newly remodeled neighborhood within 1019 Belle’s Place of Kenwood.

This special space is dedicated to honoring our veterans, their spouses, and those who proudly stood beside them. It was wonderful to see the thought and care that went into creating a community that recognizes their service, sacrifice, and legacy.
