Where art meets hope, healing, and the gift of life. 🦋

The newest art installations in the UVA Health Charles O. Strickler Transplant Center beautifully capture the resilience, transformation, and promise that define the transplant journey.

We are especially grateful to artist Paul Heller, whose creativity and vision brought this inspiring project to life. Through stunning butterflies and pinwheels, his artwork creates a welcoming space that offers comfort, reflection, and hope to transplant patients, families, caregivers, and our care teams.

This installation is a reminder that healing extends beyond medicine—it lives in the spaces we create, the stories we share, and the lives forever changed through the gift of organ donation.
