For years, “Polycystic O***y Syndrome” has been a confusing and sometimes misleading term. Not everyone with PCOS has ovarian cysts, and the name often fails to reflect the full-body metabolic and hormonal condition so many women experience every day.

Now, experts are moving toward updated terminology that better reflects the complexity of the condition and the patients living with it.
