Returning to school can bring excitement, nerves, and everything in between. Taking a few minutes to talk about what your child is looking forward to can make the transition feel a little easier.

Ask about seeing friends, learning new things, or activities they’re excited to try. Positive conversations can help children feel more confident and prepared for the school year ahead.

Transitioning back to school doesn't have to happen overnight. A few small changes before the first day can make mornings smoother and help children feel more prepared.

Try adjusting bedtime and wake-up time by 15–30 minutes each day leading up to the start of school. Small steps can make a big difference!
