This laundry closet transformation was a team effort! 😍

When my client first reached out, I knew some baskets, bins, and labels on the existing shelves could help tame the chaos. But she had a bigger vision for this space—and with the help of her boyfriend, she brought it to life! 🙌

They added cabinets, wood wall panels for warmth and texture, an easy-to-reach shelf, under-cabinet lighting, and a folding countertop above the washer and dryer. Just wait until you see the before and after! 👀✨

Once their beautiful updates were complete, it was my turn to come in and create functional zones, contain everything in bins and baskets, and add labels to make the space easy to use and maintain.

A beautiful space and systems that work? Now that’s a laundry closet dream team! 🧺🤍

Your closet needs an exit strategy. 👋

Keep a donation bin where you get dressed. When you try something on and realize you’re done with it, toss it in instead of hanging it back up. Full bin? Time for a donation drop-off!

✨ Bonus for kids’ closets: Add “too big” and “too small” bins to keep hand-me-downs sorted—one for clothes they’ll grow into and one for clothes ready to pass along.

One little bin. One less “I’ll deal with it later.” 😉

The dining room has officially traded place settings for playdates. 🍽️➡️🧸

This space wasn’t getting much use as a dining room, but as a playroom? Business is booming. 😂

I brought in and built versatile cube shelving, sorted toys into labeled bins, and gave the arts and crafts supplies a proper home. The table stayed, but with a bench replacing the dining chairs, it’s ready for little creators to pull up a seat. 🎨

Because your home should work for the life you’re actually living—even if the fanciest thing on the table is Play-Doh spaghetti.

Swipe to see the transformation! ✨

The scariest thing in your house might be the pile you said you’d “deal with later.” 👻😅

Buying bins before decluttering? Keeping things “just in case”? Stuffing one more thing into an already full closet? These habits have a way of coming back to haunt us.

No judgment here—just a friendly reminder that a few simple systems can make your home easier to maintain. 🎃

Which of these are you guilty of? Tell me below! 👇 And if you’re ready to tackle what’s haunting your home, Uniquely Sorted is here to help.

Less formal dining, more room for play! 🎨🧸

This dining room wasn’t meeting my clients’ needs, so we gave it a purpose that fits their family: a functional, inviting playroom!

✨ I brought in and assembled versatile cube shelving to give toys a home.
✨ Like items were grouped into labeled bins for easier playtime and cleanup.
✨ Arts and crafts supplies were sorted and organized at the table, ready for little creators.
✨ Dining chairs made way for a bench, turning the table from a clutter catchall into an inviting spot to create.

Your home should work for the life you’re living—and sometimes that means rethinking what a room can be. 💛

We’ve all opened that drawer, pulled on one charger, and somehow brought out six. 😅

A quick sort and a few labeled clear bags gave every cord its own home. Now it’s easy to find the one you need—and put it back when you’re done. Small drawer, big relief.

An office for the grown-ups…that also has to survive the kids. 😂 Challenge accepted. 🙌

This shared family space needed systems that made sense for everyone using it, so we gave all the little things a very specific home.

🖍️ Coloring supplies were sorted into easy-to-access labeled bins
✏️ Clear sectioned organizers brought order to the drawers
🔌 Cords were sorted and tucked into their own labeled bags—because no one has time for the “what does this cord even go to?” game 😅
📚 Coloring and activity books now have designated magazine bins
✨ Clear labeled bins inside the cabinets make it easy to see, grab, and—most importantly—PUT THINGS BACK

The result? A space where kids can easily find what they need, adults aren’t digging through clutter, and every random little office supply finally has an address. 👏

Shared space. Simple systems. A whole lot less “Mom, where is the…?” 🙌

A place for everything…because somehow a 6-year-old can have A LOT of stuff. 😂🙌

This room didn’t need more space—it needed the space it already had to work a whole lot harder.

✨ Drawer dividers keep neatly file-folded clothes organized and easy to grab.
🌈 Books are rainbow ordered because functional can still be fun.
🧺 Bins throughout the closet create intentional zones and give everything a designated home.
👟 A shoe rack gets shoes off the floor and makes better use of the closet space.
🙌 And bins under the bed turned unused space into easy-to-access storage.

Nothing complicated—just simple, intentional systems that make it easier for him to find what he needs AND know exactly where it goes when it’s time to clean up. 👏

Because organizing a kid’s room isn’t about making it look perfect. It’s about making the space make sense for the kid who lives there. 💙

When a space needs to hold a lot, using vertical space is key! 🧵✨ In this sewing room, my client was already thinking tall, but together we created systems—labeled, categorized, and organized—so everything has a proper home. No more things anywhere in any bin, just a space that works efficiently and inspires creativity!
