Some Medicaid changes are coming January 1, 2027. If you're an adult ages 19–64 enrolled in the ACA Adult Medicaid Program, you may need to:

- Meet a new federal requirement of 80 hours of work, school, community service, or other qualifying activities for one month (or meet an exemption).
- Renew your Medicaid coverage every 6 months instead of every 12 months.

What you should do now:
- Update your contact information on the ABE website
- Watch your mail for notices from HFS
- Call 1-877-805-5312 if you have questions

A recent upgrade to the Memorial Community Pharmacy crash cart is making a big impact, thanks to the creativity and expertise of Dr. Kirkpatrick.

Using his 3D-printing skills, he designed and created custom medication trays that have transformed how medications are organized and stored. Replacing the cut-up Styrofoam inserts previously in use, the new trays provide a cleaner, more professional solution with designated spaces for medications and labels while allowing the crash cart lid to close properly.

Beyond improving organization, these custom trays help support efficiency and patient safety by making medications easier to identify and access when every second counts.

We are incredibly grateful for Dr. Kirkpatrick’s innovation, attention to detail, and willingness to go above and beyond to improve our processes. His ability to think outside the box, or in this case, print one, is making a real difference for our team and the patients we serve.
