We are serving a Hot Spaghetti Dinner,
this Monday May 4th
@ First Baptist in Petersburg
Arrive 4:45 to setup
Message and meal served shortly after 5pm.

We have a Hot Spaghetti Dinner for the unsheltered coming up,
Monday May 4th,
First Baptist, Petersburg.

We often hear, "How can we help?"
So Lets break that down for you.

1) We need supplies like to go containers, silverware, napkins etc to provide this meal. We have an Amazon list with the items already picked out and if you choose to buy them there, it can ship direct to us. I have copied the Amazon link below.
**Thank you to everyone who has supported us, all items on the Amazon list have been bought!!**

2) It costs approx $250 in food cost to prepare a meal for 70 people, donations to our Venmo help cover that cost.

3) We dont just serve a meal we share the love of Jesus Christ, we sit with them, we listen and most importantly we pray with those we serve. So if you want to volunteer to be the hands and feet, I will be sharing a volunteer sign up link shortly, or you can send us a message that you are coming.

4) Pray - please pray for open hearts to receive the gospel, those serving to boldly speak the gospel truth and that Gods will, be done. 🙏

So 1, 2, 3.... and 4! Maybe you want to do 1 or 2 of the above options or more thats up to you. We thank you and are so grateful for your heart of kindness and so is the community.

God provided and we had the pleasure of serving a Hot spaghetti dinner and dessert tonight at First Baptist in partnership with Everyone Eats Tri-Cities.
What a blessing to serve each person and share the love of Christ with them.
Thank you so much to everyone who helped and supported this meal!

We look forward to the next one :)

UPDATE: Wheelchair has been received! God is good! 🙌

Hey friends,

We have a disabled unsheltered gentlemen who is in need of a new wheelchair as the wheels on his are fully worn out, the seat is bent and torn and this is how he gets around. He says he has over 200 miles on those wheels and yesterday was having a hard time getting around due to slippery conditions. This wheelchair needs to be large/wide. (Like the one pictured)

If you have one to get rid of or know someone who does please direct them to this post and to contact us!

He only has one leg and is having issues with the other to where they will likely amputate it soon. It would be a Christmas blessing to this gentlemen!

DONATIONS NEEDED!

Warm winter clothing is needed!

If you are able to donate, I have a drop off bin at my house or possibly can arrange pick up. Reach out and we can work it out!

These items are needed for Thanksgiving breakfast/meals being provided to the unsheltered.

Ponchos and rain jackets size L, XL and 2XL
Winter boots size 10.5
Hand and foot warmers
Winter socks

⚠️Attention friends⚠️We need your help!!

We have been praying over the need for a 12-15 passenger van and feel in our hearts it would be a blessing to our ministry to have the ability to transport more people per trip. 🙏

These trips are to take the unsheltered to receive meals or fill needs, taking groups and families to appointments, recovery and visiting partner churches.

We currently use our personal vehicle but are limited to seats and what a blessing it would be to have room for more.

So the next step.... Finding this van and the resources to purchase. So the search is on!

Since losing my job in June I have been working on a side hustle to help qith our budget. And with that... this van is not in our budget, so maybe this opportunity means fundraising and donations. We are trusting in God!

So finally, How can you help?

We are looking for used, blemishes welcomed, just needs to be solid, running and reliable, with a title.

When: 2nd Wednesday of the month through the Summer! ☀️

Wednesday, August 13 | 6:00 PM
Meet at the Castles house 🏡
We’ll be heading up JD into Richmond to minister on the streets.

Please note this is Adults-only, due to the location and nature of the mission.

We do understand missions like this are not for everyone.
We need 1 person to be the driver and remain in the vehicle the entire time. You must have a valid license and insurance. This is such an important role as it allows us to be on the street. - Sounds like something that fits you? Please send a PM, we would love to have you!
