The Casper Police Department is actively investigating a missing persons case involving 30-year-old Kandice Gunter.

Gunter is described as a white female, 5 feet 7 inches tall, weighing around 185 pounds, with black hair and blue eyes. She has a butterfly tattoo on her neck.

Gunter was last seen in person on the morning of October 29, 2026 in Natrona County. She was reported to CPD as missing later that evening.

She was last known to be traveling in a gray 2016 GMC Canyon pickup with Wyoming temporary registration. Her last known cellphone location was along Highway 387, near the Natrona County line, at around 12:30pm Friday, October 30, 2026.

Anyone who has seen Gunter or the vehicle, or who has information about her whereabouts, is asked to contact the Casper Police Department at 307-235-8278. Anonymous tips may be submitted to Crime Stoppers of Central Wyoming by calling 307-577-8477 or visiting crimestopperscasper.org

Raymond Dale Harris, 20, was last seen leaving a family member's residence in the vicinity of the 600 block of South 27th Street in Omaha, Nebraska, on November 26, 1971. Harris had contacted family to say he was leaving Nebraska and moving to a family member's residence in Des Moines, Iowa, but he never arrived.

James E. Marten, known to family as Jim, was 49 years old and living in Omaha, Nebraska, when he was reported missing in December 2012. His wife saw him at their home the morning of December 10, 2012, before he left for work at approximately 8:00 a.m., and spoke with him by phone at 2:45 p.m. that afternoon. He was expected to pick up his son from school later that day but never arrived, and he has not been seen or heard from since.

Merle Glen Saul, a Native American man in his mid-50s and a member of the Santee Sioux Nation of Nebraska, was reported missing after he disappeared from the Omaha, Nebraska area on October 1, 2015. Saul, a Vietnam-era U.S. Army veteran, was homeless at the time of his disappearance.

Shawny Lee Smith, 32, of Cheyenne, Wyoming, was a mother of two. She was last seen late on February 6 or early on February 7, 2003, at the Cowboy South Bar, 312 South Greeley Highway in Cheyenne. On February 8, her body was found in a field off U.S. Route 85 in Weld County, Colorado, about a quarter mile south of the Wyoming line. She was believed to be wearing a dark blue thigh-length FUBU jacket, brown Skechers ankle shoes, and jeans. The Wyoming Division of Criminal Investigation's cold case unit is investigating, and no one has been charged. Her case remains open on the HOLMES Citizen Portal. Steven Earl Applegate, 17, a senior at Plattsmouth High School in Plattsmouth, Nebraska, was last seen on February 8, 2010, at approximately 3:30 p.m. near the Missouri River toll bridge on U.S. Highway 34 in Plattsmouth. Witnesses reported seeing him get out of his car on the bridge and jump into the river below.

Ryan D. Larsen, an 11-year-old boy from La Vista, Nebraska, was last seen on May 17, 2021, after leaving La Vista West Elementary School, where he was a sixth-grader. Ryan had become frustrated with a math problem and gone to another room to calm down; the adult assigned to supervise him had left, and a replacement arrived late. Between 11:55 a.m. and 12:05 p.m., during this unsupervised window, Ryan left the school campus. The school notified his mother at 12:27 p.m. and called 911 at 12:29 p.m.; police arrived roughly five minutes later and began a search. A neighbor reported seeing Ryan at approximately 1:45 p.m. at Southfield Apartments in La Vista, near 84th and Harrison Streets, about two blocks from the school, where he lived with his mother and one sister. He was holding a polka-dot umbrella at the time. Ryan did not have a key and could not have entered the apartment. He has not been seen or heard from since.

Marialice Clark, 14, of Omaha, Nebraska, has been missing since August 1, 1972. She was last seen getting into a car bearing Illinois (Chicago) license plates near the Bali-Hi Lounge, at North 24th and Hamilton Streets in Omaha, and has not been seen or heard from since.

Camisha Nicole Hollis, 34, of Omaha, Nebraska, was last seen by her three young daughters at the family's home in the 5600 block of North 57th Avenue in the early-morning hours of April 2, 2018, following what the children described as an argument between Hollis and her longtime boyfriend, Marvin Young. When the children woke later that morning, they found themselves alone in the house.
