Fall officially kicks off this week, and as a PT, we notice a few patterns every year once the temperature drops.

Cooler air, stiffer joints. Lower temps can make muscles feel tighter, so give yourself a longer warm up before activity.

Raking and yard work count as exercise. Bend at the knees, switch sides often, and take breaks. Your back will thank you.

It's actually great walking weather. Cooler days are perfect for low impact movement before winter slows things down.

However your body responds to the season change, we're here to help you move through it comfortably.

Feeling any new stiffness or aches as the weather shifts? Book your appointment today and let's keep you moving well all season.

Dry needling gets a lot of questions, so let's break it down simply.

1. It targets trigger points in muscles, not acupuncture meridians. Different practice, different goal.
2. A thin sterile needle helps release deep, tense bands of muscle that manual stretching often can't reach.
3. Some soreness afterward is totally normal, kind of like the day after a tough workout. It usually fades within a day or two.
4. It's rarely a standalone treatment. We usually pair it with targeted exercises for lasting results.
5. It's performed by your certified PT, as one piece of a bigger treatment plan built for you.

Think it might help with what you're dealing with? Schedule your appointment to get a personalized treatment plan and we'll walk you through it.

Let's clear this one up once and for all. That satisfying crack when you turn your neck? It's just gas bubbles releasing in the joint, nothing more. There's no solid evidence linking it to arthritis down the road.

Now, if you're cracking your neck constantly just to get relief, or it's paired with pain, stiffness, or that "stuck" feeling, that's worth paying attention to. That's your body asking for help, not just noise.

Curious what's actually causing your neck tension?

Book a one on one session today and let's figure it out together.
