Chicago Pediatric Therapy & Wellness Center provides physical, occupational, speech and Behavior therapy services in the clinic, school, and teletherapy setting as well as in the home through the Early Intervention Program. We work with children of all ages, from premature infants to young adults. Our therapists work in partnership with families to establish meaningful goals and provide interventi

ons that are developmentally appropriate in a child-friendly environment. Communication with the child, parents, and specialists on the team is the cornerstone of our intervention and treatment philosophies. We have multiple social groups and classes for all ages that meet on a weekly or twice weekly basis. We strive to provide a variety of services for children and their caregivers to serve as a resource for families in the community. These groups include developmental play groups, social skills groups, parent support groups and motor skills groups. Our group is for kids ages 6 to 13 and attendees will work with other children and our social workers and talk about what it’s like having a brother or sister with different abilities. This workshop will be a fun way to bring kids together for friendships and hopefully build connections far beyond the 6 weeks of the workshop! Archer Smith is a courageous 10-year-old boy who lives with epilepsy and developmental delay. Archer is non-verbal and immobile, requiring full-time care and specialized support for all of his daily needs. Despite the challenges he faces, Archer brings joy and inspiration to everyone who knows him through his resilience and bright spirit.

This Charity 5K will be held Sunday, August 23rd at 9:00am. Come walk, run, or roll with us as our community comes together to celebrate an incredible kid whose strength, smile, and spirit inspire everyone around him.
