A Moment in Prayer 🙏

As we pause this Labor Day, let’s take a moment to thank God for the gift of work and for the many people who work each day to provide for their families and serve our communities.

Today, let’s remember those who are working while others are enjoying a day off, those who are struggling to find work, those who are carrying the weight of providing for their families, and those who may simply need a little encouragement and strength.

Each week, we will also remember in our prayers those who are sick, those who are lost and undone, those who have lost loved ones, our leaders, and our country. We pray for those who are hurting, grieving, and facing difficult circumstances. We also pray for the families we have served and those we are currently serving, asking God to surround them with His peace, comfort, and strength.

May God bless the hands that work, the families they provide for, and the communities they help make stronger.

“Whatsoever ye do, do it heartily, as to the Lord, and not unto men.” — Colossians 3:23 (KJV)

If there is someone or something on your heart that you would like us to pray for, feel free to leave a prayer request in the comments, send us a message, or give us a call. We would be honored to remember them in our prayers. 🙏💙💛

We were blessed to have the opportunity to feed the Surgoinsville Middle School football team this evening before their game against Tri-Cities Middle School in the “Battle of the Eagles”! 🦅🏈

We want to wish the Surgoinsville Eagles Football the very best tonight! May they have a great game, and may everyone traveling to and from the game have safe travels. Most importantly, we pray for a fun, competitive, and safe game for all of the players and coaches.

A special thank you to the wonderful coaches for all they do for these young athletes. We’re always grateful for the opportunity to support our local students and our community!

Good luck, and Go SMS Eagles! 🧡🖤🤍🏈🦅

🙏 Introducing Our Weekly Community Prayer 🙏

Each week, we’ll be sharing a prayer for our community, our families, and the people around us.

We invite you, whenever you come across one of these posts, to take a minute and just pray. There is always someone or something that could use a little extra prayer. Whether it’s a family going through a difficult time, our children and teachers, our first responders, those who are hurting, or simply the needs of our community, we want to take a moment each week to lift them up.

🙏 This Week’s Prayer

This week, we would like to pray for the people of Nepal and for everyone affected by the tragedy there.

Each week, we will also remember in our prayers those who are sick, those who are lost and undone, those who have lost loved ones, our leaders, and our country. We pray for those who are hurting, grieving, and facing difficult circumstances, and ask that they be given comfort, strength, and peace.

If there is someone or something on your heart that you would like us to pray for, feel free to leave a prayer request in the comments, send us a message, or give us a call. We would be honored to remember them in our prayers. 💙💛

“Confess your faults one to another, and pray one for another, that ye may be healed. The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much.” — James 5:16 (KJV)
