Today, we celebrate the life, courage, and fiery leadership of Dolores Huerta— a prophet of our times and an eternal luchadora for social justice. Her unwavering commitment to justice, dignity, and the power of collective action has inspired generations to rise, organize, and fight for a more just and compassionate world.
We give thanks for the legacy she has gifted us and for the values she continues to call us to embody: solidarity, a preferential option for the poor, and the courage to be a voice for the oppressed. Her life reminds us that the struggle for justice is sacred work, that our voices matter, and that lasting change is built together.
May we honor her legacy not only with our words, but through our actions — continuing the work, standing with the marginalized, and building a world where every person is treated with dignity.

🎉 Big news: Ohio’s Latino leadership network just went statewide, and our Clinical Director, Siobhán Malavé, LISW-S, LICDC, is part of it! Siobhán has joined the 2026 @100+ Latinos Ohio Must Know cohort, presented by Consulting LLC, a platform built for visibility, leadership development, professional development, and civic engagement. 🌟

📍 This is the program’s first-ever statewide year, and the growth says everything about where our community is headed. What started in Cleveland now stretches across 18 counties and 40 cities, from the shores of Lake Erie 🌊 to Columbus and Cincinnati. It’s a cohort of 106 leaders, more than three-quarters women, nearly a quarter under 30, and almost 60% already serving or ready to serve on a nonprofit board. This isn’t a list. It’s a pipeline. 🚀

💙 At HUMADAOP, Siobhán leads our bilingual prevention and treatment services, making sure Latino families in Northeast Ohio have culturally grounded care in the language they’re most comfortable in. We’re proud to see that work recognized alongside leaders across the state this Hispanic Heritage Month. 🎊
