Let My Doctors Decide Action Network (LMDDAN)—a coalition advocating for patient-centered treatment decisions—has released a study examining how Medicaid programs in Colorado, Georgia, Illinois, Kansas, Massachusetts, Minnesota, Mississippi, Oregon, and Virginia make coverage decisions for rare disease treatments.

The findings revealed significant differences from state to state, meaning a patient's access to treatment may depend on where they live.

June is both Vitiligo Awareness Month and Men’s Health Month — an important reminder that autoimmune disease doesn’t only affect women. Millions of men are living with autoimmune disease too, and their stories deserve to be heard.

In our latest episode of Autoimmune Voices: Threads of Hope, Jarrett Brown shares his experience growing up with vitiligo, navigating mental health and identity, and finding connection through advocacy and community.
