MGA Health Clinics

MGA Health Clinics The MGA Health Clinics, located on the Cochran and Macon campuses, are designed to provide minor episodic health care and referrals to our students.

Staffed by licensed Nurse Practitioners, MGA Health Clinics are located on the Macon and Cochran campuses. These facilities are medical clinics providing a broad range of affordable health care to currently enrolled MGA students and currently employed MGA faculty and staff from any of our five campuses. A valid MGA Knight ID card is required. The Health Clinic services are available by appointment

or on a walk-in basis during operating hours when classes are in session. Unlimited visits to the clinics are free to students seeking treatment for episodic/acute illnesses. Other services including immunizations, lab testing, diagnostic screening, physicals, etc., are available for additional fees. The Health Clinics are funded by student health fees. Therefore, MGA faculty/staff are required to pay a nominal fee at the time of each visit.

U.S. measles cases have reached a 35-year high. You can see data in depth in a Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health tracker that compiles state and local health data: https://vist.ly/5cs7i

According to the CDC, if one person has measles, 90% of people near that person who have not gotten their shot will also get sick.

The measles vaccine is safe and effective. Getting measles is dangerous, especially for children. If you haven't been vaccinated, it's not too late, even if you're an adult. If you are vaccinated, tell your friends and family why it's important to you to keep yourself and your community safe.

Recommended vaccines protect all of us, but only when people get them.
