Dear Friends: June invites us to reflect, celebrate, and recommit to who we are together.
This month, we recognize Pride, Juneteenth, and National Immigrant Heritage Month, each a powerful reminder of the dignity, resilience, and contributions of people whose stories deserve to be seen, heard, and valued. At Broadmead, inclusion is not a talking point; it’s who we are, and we are excited to come together in meaningful, joyful ways that celebrate our shared humanity and the diversity within our community.
We celebrate Pride because everyone deserves to feel safe, known, and valued. When people are free to bring their whole selves into community, we all grow more connected, and more human in how we care for one another.
We honor Juneteenth by recognizing both the hard-fought history of freedom and the ongoing journey toward equity. In our work, we support Black stories, businesses, and voices because lifting up these perspectives helps us better understand each other and brings us closer as a community.
And during National Immigrant Heritage Month, we recognize that Broadmead is enriched by people from many backgrounds, cultures, and lived experiences. The diversity of journeys represented here, among residents, families, and team members alike, expands who we are and the welcoming way we treat our neighbors.
These moments are part of our everyday work of building a place where everyone can flourish, and we are grateful to do this alongside all of you.
With appreciation,
Jay Prince, President & CEO
