Please join us in congratulating Mary Irvin, MSN, RN, on her promotion to Director of Resident Care!

Mary has worked in healthcare for over 25 years, 20 of those as a Registered Nurse, with experience spanning Progressive Care, Cardiology and Research.

For the past year, she's been right here at Dunlop House working in long-term care. She is truly honored to step into this role and continue to love and care for our residents.

Outside of Dunlop House, Mary enjoys spending time with her husband, kids and grandbabies, making memories every chance she gets.

We're so glad to have you leading resident care, Mary. 💜

Our Director of Resident Care, Peggy Morris, is stepping away from her role at Dunlop House.

Please join us in thanking her for all the love, care and compassion she has shown our residents and families over the years. We will miss her dearly and wish her the best as she moves forward in her career.

In her words:

Caring for you and your loved ones has been one of the greatest privileges of my nursing career.

From my very first day, my goal was to ensure that every resident was treated with compassion, dignity, respect and the quality of care they deserve.

While change can sometimes feel uncertain, Dunlop House remains filled with the absolute best, dedicated team who are committed to the well-being of each resident. I have every confidence that you and your loved ones will continue to receive the care, kindness and support that each of you deserve.

I will always carry the memories of each of you with me. From the random water gun fights in the atrium to the visits with each of you that were just as meaningful to me as they have been to you.

I will miss the hugs, laughter, stories, celebrations and even the difficult moments that remind me daily why I became a nurse.

Each of you has touched my life in ways you may never realize. Your trust has been one of the greatest gifts of my career, and I will forever be grateful.

Thank you for allowing me to be a part of your lives.
