“I don’t miss the health anxiety, losing days of my life, or the hangovers.” 💖

100 days booze free 🙌 And honestly, that’s a huge milestone.

Recovery doesn’t have to mean having all the answers right away. Sometimes it’s just realizing you feel better without it and continuing to choose that. So proud of this journey ✨

First impressions matter. 💭

In this moment, Tyler Kea shares how shifting the intake process at Peaks starts with one simple priority… connection. Instead of paperwork and pressure, it begins with grounding, presence, and care for both the guest and their family.

When people feel safe from the start, everything that follows gets stronger. 💙

Hard moments can shape stronger versions of us. 🌱Keep going, you’re growing through it. 💪

“Connection is the answer.” 💬

In this episode, Chris reminds us that both addiction and mental health struggles thrive in isolation. When we create real connection, we give people something meaningful to hold onto. Something that reminds them they are not alone.

Connection can change everything. 💙

In this episode of Finding Peaks, Chris sits down with Patricia Shannon, one of Peaks Recovery Centers' Peer Recovery Coaches, to explore the belief that makes the impossible possible.
Patricia shares what motivates her to show up each day, why recovery work is far more than a job, and what makes the Peaks approach different. Through pieces of her own story and the lessons she's learned along the way, Pat reflects on the power of authenticity, the importance of truly being heard, and the lasting impact we can have on others, even when we may never fully realize it.
This conversation is a reminder that healing often begins with connection, that hope can be contagious, and that sometimes the most meaningful change starts when someone believes in us before we're able to believe in ourselves.

“It’s the little things… treating people like people.” 💬

You are not a number. You are a human being, and that matters. 💙t. It is not just systems or structure, it is connection, accountability, and taking the time to walk alongside someone instead of passing them through.

You are not a number. You are a human being and that matters. 💙
