📅 Your holiday treatment timeline (save this one!)

Every December I get messages like "Can you fit me in before my party this weekend?" I always want to say yes, but some treatments need time to look their best. Here's my honest guide for planning ahead:

🗓️ 6–8 weeks before your event: Microneedling
Collagen builds over several weeks, and a series works best. Start now if you want smoother skin by Christmas.

🗓️ 3–4 weeks before: Lip or cheek filler
Most swelling settles within two weeks. This leaves room for a touch-up if you want one.

🗓️ 2–3 weeks before: Tox (Xeomin, Dysport, or Botox)
It takes about two weeks to reach full effect. Get it done too close to your event and you'll still be waiting.

🗓️ 1–2 weeks before: Chemical peel
Peeling usually finishes within about a week, leaving you fresh and bright.

Working backward from Thanksgiving (Nov 26) and Christmas, that means October and early November are the time to book. And it happens that my Fall Refresh pricing is running through October 31.

Treatments that shouldn’t scare you 👻 (but I know they do)

Most of my first-time clients tell me they waited a year or more because of one fear. Let’s talk about the big ones:

😬 “I’ll look frozen.”
Not if your injector is doing it right. I dose for YOUR face and how you move it. The goal is softer lines, not a face that can’t make expressions.

😬 “Lip filler = duck lips.”
Overfilled lips come from too much product, too fast. I’d rather start conservative and add later than go too far. Natural is my default.

😬 “Needles hurt.”
Tox feels like a quick pinch. Microneedling gets numbing cream first. Most clients are surprised at how fast it’s over.

😬 “What if I hate it?”
Tox wears off gradually over about 3–4 months. Hyaluronic acid filler can be dissolved. You’re never stuck.

😬 “Medspas are pushy.”
Not mine. If something isn’t right for you, I’ll tell you. Sometimes the answer is “you don’t need that yet.”

I put this together because so many of you have told me fall is when you finally have time to take care of yourselves. Summer is busy, the holidays are chaos, and October is the sweet spot.

Here's what's on special through the end of the month:

💋 Lip Filler: $499 (regularly $649). Soft, natural-looking volume and hydration. I always start conservative. You can add, but you shouldn't have to undo.

✨ Dysport: $4/unit (regularly $5). Smooths forehead lines, frown lines, and crow's feet. Results settle in about two weeks.

✨ Xeomin: $9/unit for new clients on your first 20 units. A great "first tox" option.

🌿 Microneedling: starting at $250. My favorite fall treatment for texture, acne scarring, fine lines, and sun damage. Less sun exposure this time of year makes for easier healing.

🍂 Chemical Peels: $50 off. Brighter, more even skin. Great for post-summer dullness and spots.

Summer sun, dry Colorado air, and a few months of “I’ll get to it” add up. Fall is the best time to reset your skin — less sun exposure means faster, easier healing after peels and microneedling.

And if you want to look your best for holiday photos, now is the window. Tox takes about 2 weeks to fully settle, and lips need a couple of weeks for any swelling to calm down. Book in October and you’re glowing by Thanksgiving.

“Should I get Botox, Xeomin, or Dysport?” I get asked this almost every week — so here’s the real answer. 💉

They all do the same basic job: relax the muscle that’s causing a wrinkle. The difference is in the formulation and how they spread.

✨ Xeomin — my most popular. A “naked” neurotoxin with no additives, so it’s clean and predictable. Great for first-timers. $11/unit, and new clients get their first 20 units at $9/unit.

✨ Botox — the name you already know. Clinically proven, decades of results, $13/unit.

✨ Dysport — best for larger areas like a full forehead, because it spreads further. You typically need more units, but the total cost lands in the same range as the other two — and it’s on Fall Refresh pricing at $4/unit through October 31.

There’s no “best” one across the board — there’s a best one for YOUR face and YOUR goals, which is exactly what we talk through at your consultation. I’ll never push a product on you just because it’s the one running a promo that week.
