Our inaugural Dear First Day gathering was small and deeply personal. Those who joined us stayed, listened, shared, and helped us learn what this project needs next. Thank you to everyone who trusted the room with their words and for the general feel of goodwill that filled the space. 💕

If you ever wondered why I prefer to make looooooooooong winded written posts… Here it is!! lol

I woke up and thought I can just say a quick word. Yea NOPE! lol

I hope you get a laugh, but mostly, I hope to see you this Sunday for Dear First Day! 💕


I meant to say we have a performances by local Poet Xhero, and some youth performers as well as space for open mic performances!! There may be a limited menu, but I will get the final word and make a WRITTEN POST about it. 😅
