My name means new beginnings.

Looking back, I realize I’ve had to begin again more times than I can count.

I was kicked out of my home at 18. That moment changed the trajectory of my life. Years later, during my daughter’s senior year, everything fell apart again. I lost nearly every part of the life I had built.

As an emotional health and spiritual teacher, I’ve always believed that the deepest wisdom comes from living the work, not just talking about it. The tools I share with others have also carried me through my own darkest seasons.

One thing I’ve learned is this….every ending has a recovery period.

We often want the transformation without honoring the rest that comes before it. But we’re not separate from nature…we are nature. Trees don’t bloom year round. They release, they rest, and when the time is right, they grow again.

The same is true for us.

I’m in my season of regrowth now. I can feel it before I can fully see it. My confidence is returning. My wisdom has deepened. My nervous system feels steadier. My spirit feels more alive. I am humbled.

If you’re in a season where everything feels like it’s falling apart, don’t mistake the winter for the end of your story.

Sometimes life isn’t ending. It’s clearing the ground for your next beginning.

Trust the process. Rest when you need to. Then rise.
