Foam rolling just temporarily relaxes the muscle. It doesn’t do much long term.

How much your glutes “activate” is mainly related to how strong they are. So the silly drills and just strengthen them.

Needing a 30 minute warm up is not normal. Your muscles and joints shouldn’t need such a long ramp up just to move.

Stretching the muscle you’re training is counterintuitive. Stretching inhibits muscle activation.

Skipping accessories is a fast track to injury. Weak points will show up in your training if you don’t address them ahead of time.

Biceps tendinitis is usually indicative of a deeper problem, not just irritation of the tendon.

Most people I treat with this issue think they are doing too many curls, but they really have a shoulder problem instead.

If you just stop training biceps, you’ll feel a little better, but the root issue will persist.

Biceps tendinitis typically occurs when the bicep is compensating for a lack of shoulder stability, causing tendon irritation from the additional strain.

If you have patellar tendinitis, stop over complicating it.

In most cases, you need to strengthen the tendon.

People tend to work on everything BUT the knee, when that’s exactly the thing that would work.

Working on your squat mechanics and glutes are great in general, but true tendinitis is a tendon weakness.

Your ankle mobility determines how much hip mobility you need in the first place.

Stretching can be a good start, but it is not a complete solution to improving mobility.

Using active exercises instead of passive stretches leads to more sustained mobility improvements, where as stretching tends to be more temporary.

Please stop blaming “poor posture” for your shoulder problems.

Unless you are physically stuck in the posture, it’s not the problem.

99% of people with “poor posture” just fall into it out of habit. They could stand upright if they wanted, but just forget to do so.

Easy band exercises aren’t going to get your rotator cuff to full strength.

Strengthening your rotator cuff will only take you so far in your recovery.

It’s a great starting point, but doesn’t get you all the way to your goals.
