🎆 Celebrate Safely This Fourth of July! 🇺🇸

Fireworks are a fun way to celebrate, but they can cause serious and even permanent eye injuries in an instant.

👓 Protect your vision by following these safety tips:
• Leave fireworks to the professionals.
• If using legal consumer fireworks, always wear protective safety glasses.
• Keep a safe distance and never relight a “dud.”
• Closely supervise children and keep them away from all fireworks, including sparklers, which can burn at temperatures over 2,000°F.
• If an eye injury occurs, do not rub the eye or attempt to remove any object. Seek emergency medical care immediately.

Your eyesight is precious—don’t let one moment change it forever.

From all of us at our Arena Eye Surgeons team, we wish you a safe, happy, and healthy Fourth of July! ❤️🤍💙

👁️ June is Cataract Awareness Month 👁️

Did you know that cataracts are one of the leading causes of vision loss worldwide—and one of the most treatable?

A cataract occurs when the eye’s natural lens becomes cloudy, causing symptoms such as:
✨ Blurry or hazy vision
✨ Increased glare from lights
✨ Difficulty driving at night
✨ Faded or yellowed colors
✨ Frequent changes in glasses prescriptions

The good news? Cataract surgery is a safe, effective procedure that can restore clearer vision and help you get back to the activities you love.

If you’ve noticed changes in your vision, don’t ignore them. A comprehensive eye exam can help determine if cataracts are affecting your sight and whether treatment may be right for you.

📞 Contact our office today to schedule your eye examination and take the first step toward clearer vision.

Today is National Doctors’ Day, a time to recognize physicians with dignity, respect, and gratitude. At Arena Eye Surgeons, we’re taking a moment to thank the doctors who bring skill, judgment, and steady presence to patient care every day.

The physicians we work with treat your conditions, but they also go a step beyond. They earn trust in hard conversations, guide teams through uncertainty, and stay grounded when the stakes are high. Their work reflects both excellence in medicine and the humanity required to practice it well.

We are incredibly grateful for our physicians here at Arena Eye Surgeons! Thanks for all you do for our patients!
