⚠️ Know the Signs. Be Prepared. Save a Life.

Illicit fentanyl can be mixed into counterfeit pills and other drugs, often without the person knowing. Even a small amount can be deadly.

🚨 Know the signs of an opioid overdose:
•Slow, shallow, or stopped breathing
•Unresponsiveness or inability to wake
•Blue, gray, or pale lips or skin
•Pinpoint pupils
•Choking, gurgling or unusual snoring sounds

If you suspect an overdose, call 911 immediately and administer naloxone (Narcan) if available.

💜 FREE opioid overdose kits are available at all DPH health clinics. Each kit includes:
•Naloxone nasal spray
•Fentanyl and xylazine test strips
•Easy-to-read instructions
•Information on how to recognize an opioid overdose

💊💙 Celebrating Our Pharmacy Team During Pharmacy Week! 💙💊

This Pharmacy Week, we’re shining a well-deserved spotlight on the incredible pharmacy professionals who play such an important role in the care we provide every single day at Lighthouse Behavioral Health Hospital.

In behavioral health, medication management is about so much more than filling a prescription. Our Pharmacy Team works closely with physicians, nurses and the entire treatment team to promote safe, effective and appropriate medication use for every patient we serve. Their expertise, attention to detail and commitment to patient safety are essential parts of the treatment and recovery process.

Much of their work happens behind the scenes, but its impact can be felt throughout our hospital. From reviewing medications and identifying potential interactions to supporting clinical teams, educating staff and ensuring medications are available when our patients need them, our Pharmacy Team is an important part of every patient’s journey toward stabilization and healing.

During Pharmacy Week, we want to say a very special THANK YOU to our Pharmacy Team for the knowledge, precision, teamwork and compassion you bring to Lighthouse each day. 🫶

🌟 Lighthouse in the Community! 🌟

Jason and Jessica had a great time representing Lighthouse Behavioral Health Hospital at the Case Management Vendor Fair at Conway Medical Center on October 14th! 💙

Events like this give our team the opportunity to connect directly with case managers and community partners, share information about the behavioral health services available at Lighthouse and strengthen the relationships that help patients access the right level of care when they need it most. Even better, the funds raised through the event went to support CMC’s Indigent Patient Program, helping provide assistance to patients in our community who are facing financial barriers to care. 🤝💙

🍂 Depression is treatable. Help is available.

Treatment looks different for everyone and may include therapy, medication, structured outpatient care or inpatient stabilization when a higher level of support is needed.

At Lighthouse Behavioral Health Hospital and The Beacon, we offer multiple levels of behavioral health care for adolescents ages 10–17 and adults, helping individuals access the level of support they need.
