Well hello there! I've been quiet because I'm still doing readings but before and after I've been packing up my house of 26 years to list for sale. Change is coming and it's a wild ride to say the least. I was intrigued when I found my diaries that started when I was 11 and went through freshman year of college. HOLY SMOKES that was a ride to read through! Then the next day I found a box of photos that put images to the words. I talk a lot about healing our younger selves in readings and while I'd like to think I've done pretty well with it, tears were shed. There was so much anger, hurt, sadness, love, laughter and chaos but I'm making peace with all of it. Or trying to! I can't help but think there's a book in here somewhere and I'll be so relieved when my packing and cleaning is done. Please schedule a reading so I can have an escape from "work!" Today marks 25 years since my mom passed. I’ve told many of you about this so here's the email she sent out the night before she died. Makes me smile and I'm grateful she was as witchy as she was!

“People come into your life for a reason, a season or a lifetime. When you figure out which one it is, you will know what to do for each person.

When someone is in your life for a REASON…it is usually to meet a need you have expressed. They have come to assist you through a difficulty, to provide you with guidance and support, to aid you physically, emotionally or spiritually. They may seem like a godsend and they are! They are there for the reason you need them to be. Then, without any wrongdoing on your part, or at an inconvenient time, this person will say or do something to bring the relationship to an end. Sometimes they die. Sometimes they walk away. Sometimes they act up and force you to take a stand. What we must realize is that our need has been met, our desire fulfilled, and their work is done. The prayer you sent up has been answered. And now it is time to move on.

When people come into your life for a SEASON It is because your turn has come to share, grow or learn. They bring you an experience of peace or make you laugh. They may teach you something you have never done. They usually give you an unbelievable amount of joy. Believe it! It is real! But, only for a season.

LIFETIME relationships teach you lifetime lessons; things you must build upon in order to have a solid emotional foundation. Your job is to accept the lesson, love the person, and put what you have learned to use in all other relationships and the areas of your life. It is said that love is blind but friendship is clairvoyant.

Have to pass on the card pull this morning because yesterday one of our labs, Huxley, was having so much fun sprinting around with the other dogs when hurt his front arm down by his wrist. The fabulous Emergency Vet in Ossipee did not see any fractures and he just happens to see his regular vet at 10:30 this morning! The poor boy is whining on every exhale and we’re hoping we can keep him quiet as it heals. He’s also a terrible stoner and the pain meds make him so loopy! Welcome to Monday everyone!
