It is with heavy hearts, we remember a very special member of the S**o River Medical Group family, Geraldine Lau, DNP, APRN.

For 23 years, Geri was so much more than a Nurse Practitioner. She was a devoted caregiver, mentor, teacher, colleague, and friend who touched the lives of countless patients and staff with her compassion, kindness, encouragement, and dedication to caring for others.

Geri was also a valued owner of S**o River Medical Group and played an important role in the history and growth of our practice. Her presence brought comfort to our patients, encouragement to our team, and a warmth that will be deeply missed.

In her loving memory, a plaque will be displayed within our facility honoring her 23 years of dedicated care and compassion. Her legacy will live on through the many lives she touched, the lessons she shared, and the lasting impact she made on our SRMG family and community.

And, as Geri so often reminded us:

"You are amazing."

We will carry those words, and her loving memory, with us always.

A note from S**o River Medical Group regarding Meredith Perry, APRN:

Meredith will be taking a temporary leave from the practice as she prepares for an active duty deployment overseas in late September. She will also be taking some personal time prior to her deployment and is expected to return in Late May.

During her time away, our providers and care team will continue to support Meredith’s patients and coordinate care within the practice. Our goal is to make this transition as seamless as possible and ensure patients continue to have access to the care they need.

We are incredibly proud to support Meredith as she serves our country and are grateful for her dedication and service. We look forward to welcoming her back to SRMG upon her return.
