When things get a little too easy, ankle weights are a PT’s go to as simple way to keep working toward that next level 💪

Ankle mobility matters!

With calf, Achilles & plantar fascia issues being common in the clinic, this is a simple movement to test your ankle mobility.

How to do it:

* Start in a half-kneeling position about 4-5 inches from a wall or surface with your front foot flat
* Keep your heel down as you slowly drive your knee forward
* Return to the starting position and repeat on both sides
* Perform with or without a shoe👟

🌟 PATIENT SPOTLIGHT: CHRISTINA 🌟

We’re so excited to share Christina’s story and celebrate the strength and determination she brings to every PT session!

Christina was diagnosed with Stage 1 cervical cancer on August 18, 2025. During surgery in October for a radical hysterectomy, doctors discovered additional areas of cancer, changing her diagnosis to Stage 3.

Now, nearly one year since her diagnosis, Christina is 4 months cancer-free and working hard to rebuild her strength with weekly PT sessions. Her journey has been difficult with chemo, radiation and now transfusion treatments every three weeks for the next two years, but she doesn’t let that bring her down!

Christina hopes that sharing her story will inspire others fighting cancer to keep pushing forward and never give up. We’re incredibly proud of the progress she’s made and the hard work she continues to put in every step of the way 💪❤️

⛳️ Improve your golf swing by adding this stretch to your warm-ups

• Stand with your feet shoulder-width apart and hold a golf club across your chest.
• Keep your hips facing forward throughout the movement.
• Slowly rotate your upper body to each side, keeping your lower body still.
• Repeat for 8–10 reps, focusing on smooth, controlled movement.
