Seasoned ground turkey with onion, garlic, oregano, and tomato paste pressed into a pie dish, topped with low-fat mozzarella, then covered in a whole wheat batter made with eggs, milk, and parmesan and baked at 400 until the top is golden and puffed like a pot pie. 33g of protein at 298 calories per slice and it comes together in 25 minutes. Tastes like deep dish pizza but without any of the guilt that comes with it.

Let it cool 10 minutes before you cut it or you will regret it. I'm speaking from experience.

Frozen pineapple, a whole avocado, coconut Greek yogurt, agave, and a handful of spinach you absolutely cannot taste all blended together in five minutes. 324 calories, 10g of protein, 8g of fiber, and it tastes like vacation. Top with shredded coconut and try not to make this every single morning. I've been failing at that.

Finely grated zucchini goes into a cocoa batter made with coconut oil, applesauce, coconut sugar, whole wheat flour, and semisweet chocolate chips. 12 minutes in the oven. Two cookies for 169 calories and they come out fudgy in a way that does not feel like a compromise at all. My kids ate six of them and asked for more. The zucchini stays our little secret.

Thin carrot strips brushed in tahini, sesame oil, honey, soy sauce, Dijon, and liquid smoke then baked at 400 for 20 minutes until they get crispy and caramelized and smoky. 85 calories a serving, vegan, and they actually taste like the real thing in a way I did not expect at all. Crumble them on salads, pile them on avocado toast, or eat them straight off the pan at midnight. All valid.

๐ŸŒˆ Tomatoes, habanero, yellow bell pepper, black beans, red onion, cilantro, and lime juice in one bowl. Ten minutes. 79 calories a serving and 6g of fiber and it is the prettiest thing I've put on a chip in a long time.

Chop everything, toss it together, let it sit 20 minutes. Also incredible on scrambled eggs, fish tacos, or straight out of the bowl with a spoon at midnight. No judgment here.
