The residents throughly enjoyed this Route 66 Hotrod tour that went through Cuba. We sat there over an hour and they were still coming. It was amazing.
It was nice hearing them reminiscing about the cars they had in their younger years.

They love when Eva and her pets come
to visit.
The residents love talking bout the dog’s journey, Eva takes them to dog shows and won many metals.

Cuba Library came and did some sun catchers. The residents love it and enjoyed visiting with Genevieve. They did find out that she had a few hidden talents — she plays a fiddle.

Let us introduce to you our newest Health and Wellness Direct, Ms. Ami (Amelia) Aaron. (Yes, you read that right! We have TWO Amies!)

“I’ve been an RN 13 years and joined Americare in March. I have 3 children and 5 wonderful grandkids, as well as 2 spoiled dogs that keep me busy. In my free time I love to garden and be outdoors- camping, watching birds, etc. I’m pretty handy and enjoy the challenge of a good DIY project.”

Eva and pets came in today with her bunnies and the mini pin. The residents love visiting with Eva and her sweet bunnies.

The ladies had a Mother’s Day celebration. We had one mother Delores who was not only the oldest mother but the mother with the most children one daughter and four boys 🥰 she said what a joy that was.
The mothers had a beautiful cake and some ice cream. Then did a little craft session. Such a fun bunch of ladies.

I love working in memory care because I am able to help our residents live the best life they can while they’re with us. I love being a nurse because I get to help teach the next generation of healthcare workers how special and rewarding this profession can be. “
